PACKING LIST

Weather

For those of you who've spent time in the mountains, you know that the weather can be pretty unpredictable. While we won't be dealing with snow at this time of year, we could very well encounter rain and chilly temperatures. Luckily, it's the best time of year for this type of adventure, but that doesn't mean it won't be a bit cold. We might even see temperatures as low as 5-10 degrees Celsius (40-50 degrees Fahrenheit) for the first couple of days.

But don't worry! We'll hope for the best and plan for the worst, and I'm sure we'll still have an amazing time regardless of the weather. Just remember to bring along some warm layers, a rain jacket, and anything else you might need to stay cozy and comfortable.

Risk

Please make sure to check your travel insurance before embarking on this trip, as accidents can happen even with precautions in place. While we will take necessary precautions during activities like the zipline and rafting (can be skipped if you want), it's important to note that there are inherent risks involved in mountain activities. We will be using helmets during the bike ride and will adjust our speed to match the group's skill level.

Still, there are plenty of opportunities to get hurt if you seek them out, so please don’t. The trip is not dangerous per se, I did most of this when I was a small kid, but if you lean out over a cliff to take the perfect picture well…
I will be responsible for the equipment we use, but besides from that, you are in charge of yourself and your safety.

The most likely thing to happen is a sore bum after the bike ride, a blister, or a sprain ankle. So, bring things to prevent that. I’ll have some, but not enough if everyone needs some at the same time.
